![]() ![]() In-house facilities include immersion cleaning, pickling and passivation tanks up to 35m³ capacity and 9mtrs in length although larger items can be accommodated by the use of spraying processes. Cleaning and packing of tubes and pipework to pharmaceutical and oxygen service standard can be carried out using a special plant equipped with hot demineralised water power rinsing. Electropolishing facilities comprise an automatic plant with three separate electropolishing tanks, three large tanks up to 12.5m³ capacity, 5 hand operated tanks and a barrel. Over the years Anopol have developed special techniques for electropolishing items too large for immersion treatment and would be pleased to provide technical advice on the design of equipment that requires our finishing processes. ![]() On-site services include the pre-commission cleaning, pickling and passivating of pipework systems by pumping and circulation methods and examples of use of these techniques would be Ozonation systems in water treatment works and DMW, WFI and PFI water systems in pharmaceutical companies seeking FDA validation. ![]() Spraying processes allow the pickling and passivating on-site of large vessels using only a small amount of chemicals to be carried out thus minimizing the volume of effluent requiring safe treatment and disposal. Electropolishing of vessels on-site has included the treatment of PVC polymerizers 3.5m dia weighing 40 tons and many process/storage tanks for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and nuclear industries. Most of these contracts required only product contact surfaces, usually the inside, to be electropolished allowing ![]() All on-site work is carried out by trained technicians and chemists with all chemicals quality controlled by our in-house laboratory and delivered to site in UN approved containers. Effluent is collected for neutralization prior to disposal either through the site sewerage system or for return to Anopol. | ||||
