STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
The directors of Anopol and Professional Polishing Ltd are pleased to announce a strategic partnership between their 4 facilities.
The partnership will benefit UK industry by aligning both mechanical and electropolishing of stainless steel as never before. Whilst remaining independent, both companies will be dedicated to ensuring the best “fit for purpose” polished finish is selected for the finished product.
Professional Polishing Ltd has a large factory facility near Birmingham and a second facility in Manchester . Both companies specialise in mechanical polishing of plate. The Manchester company also carries out hand polishing of stainless steel.
MARKETING AWARD FOR ANOPOL
On October 24th 2008 the Surface Engineering Association held a Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation at the House of Lords. Prior to the event, Anopol had been informed that their two entries, under the headings ‘Quality' and ‘Marketing', had been selected as finalists. The ‘Quality' entry centred on the jig or fixture developed and patented by the company for electropolishing implant stents. The ‘Marketing' entry described the actions the company had undertaken to promote the sales of its two Test Kits for stainless steel. The Molytest Kit allows one to differentiate between grade 304 and grade 316 and the Ferrotest Kit to establish if there is free iron contamination on a surface. On the night, the Winning Award for ‘Marketing' was presented by Lord Hoyle of Warrington to Anopol's managing director John Swain.
