With over 30 years experience in <strong>pickling</strong>, <strong>passivating</strong> and <strong>electropolishing </strong>of <strong>stainless steel products. </strong>We also provide <strong>sub contract electropolishing </strong>services at our two UK facilities or on-site when or if required. <br>

<strong>Pickling </strong>and <strong>Passivating </strong>is the most cost-effective method for obtaining a clean passive surface on stainless steel products by immersion in a solution of dilute acids. Pickling is carried out via our <strong>pickling paste</strong>. Pickling and <strong>passivation of stainless steel </strong>is not restricted to immersion in treatment tanks, although this method is widely used.</p>
<p> Based in the <strong>UK</strong>, we offer <strong>Electropolishing, </strong>which is electroplating in reverse. Instead of depositing a coating of another material on a surface, the action of <strong>electroplating </strong>is to remove a surface layer. Careful selection of the <strong>electropolishing electrolyte </strong>solution employed allows <strong>electropolishing </strong>to be carried out on <strong>plant and equipment </strong>and on such metals as aluminium, copper and brass, but it is in
the treatment of <strong>stainless steel </strong>in <strong>descaling </strong>that it has found its greatest commercial
